Healthy Creative Intro

Hey there my lovely beasts! I am so excited to introduce a new project to you. I’ve been meaning/wanting/planning to dive into this for a loooong time now. But, as we do, I’ve put off this thing that means so much to me for far too long. I’ve finally given myself the kick in the ass I needed to start!

I firmly believe that our creativity is the most precious thing we possess—and I’m not just talking about writers, but ANY creator…and any HUMAN! The desire to create, to share, to learn and grow and to make our mark on the world (even if it’s a very small or very weird-ass mark) is innate in all of us. And it is absolutely critical for our survival.

SO, I am going to start sharing some info and tips here on the blog and on my social media pages to help encourage you, fellow creatives, to help you take care of yourselves so you can continue to put your own amazing mark on the world (or your own weird-ass mark, if you prefer…personally, I think that’s amazing too.)

Here’s  just a little something to chew on until I roll out more detailed stuff

If you are someone who relies on your creativity to earn a living, to support yourself, OR just to keep going for any number of reasons, you MUST understand one thing:

Your health and wellbeing (mental, emotional, AND physical) are your top priority starting today! If you aren’t feeling well, vibrant, and healthy, then I guarantee, you aren’t creating as much magic in the world as you could be. Even if you ARE putting out a lot of creative work, that still stands—think how much better/more creative/more genuine and empowered it could be if you were feeling good.

So that is your goal for the week! Go find out what you are neglecting in terms of taking care of yourself. And start doing it!
